Child Development Center

Where we are in partnership with parents to help children grow into a physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy individual.

Our Philosophy: Jones Memorial Child Development Center is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children (ages 6 weeks to 5 years). The Center provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child's spiritual, social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development. The Child Development Center Strives to provide quality child care for the children of our community and to help these children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self- and teacher-directed activities. Each day the children have opportunities to create, explore, and learn through solitary play and group activities. Staff members serve as role models and provide care that is supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive to each child's individual needs. We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care and nurturing, and we believe that parents and teachers are partners in children's care and education.

Our Purpose: The purpose of the Jones Memorial Child Development Center is: 1) to provide our community with a high-quality early childhood educational program; 2) to give children a foundation for their spiritual growth; 3) to offer a safe, caring, nondiscriminatory, and enjoyable environment for children which allows parents to feel confident in their decisions to share their child(ren) with us daily; 4) to use our staff's knowledge for the education of the parents and the community about the importance of early childhood education; and 5) to serve as a mission outreach to children and their families in times of crisis.
